My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob

Soft American Primitivism music that is perfect for looking at never-ending patches of green grass. Songs like Rocky Mountain Raga, Blue Crystal Fire, Orphan's Lament, and Leaf in the Wind tug on heart strings. ethanbollard
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022

A strange and amazing "drone/noise/folk/guitar" project from this absolute master of american fingerstyle. Although poorly recorded and with Fahey in poor health at the time, this album is a little gem of experimental music played by a musician whose music had no boundaries. mario1984
